C5 Meeting in Greece, Kouloura, 8-12 May 2023

 

Erasmus+ LLvL- SP1 in Greece – C5 LTT actiities in Greece

In connection with the implementation of the Erasmus+ project "Language Learning via Literature", on May 8-12, 2023, a project meeting was held in Greece, attended by a delegation from Primary School No. 1 in Grajewo, consisting of 8 students and 2 teachers. Moreover, teams from Romania, North Macedonia, Turkiye and Greece took part in the meeting.  

On the day of arrival, the participants visited the local "House of Literature and Art", where an exhibition of the host school was presented: "Ten years of theater performances. For ten years we dressed up as heroes from fairy tales and literature.  

On the first day, the guests visited the host school, where games and activities were held to break the ice between students from all partner schools. Then there was a show of traditional Greek costumes, in which students-guests dressed up, and shows of traditional Greek dances. The next point of the visit was the Museum of the Royal Tombs in Vergina, as well as the Polycentric Museum of Aigais. In the late afternoon, the Erasmus+ team visited the modern Veria Municipal Library, which received an award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Later, we took part in an exhibition of graphic works depicting literary heroes in the modern world. 

 On the second day, the Erasmus+ team visited Thessaloniki, e.g. waterfront: visual work "Umbrellas", monument to Alexander the Great, Historical Museum in the White Tower, monument to Lambrakis, memorial to the Holocaust. The team then visited the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where they discussed literature, art and the power of image with a museologist and art historian and Professor of Pedagogy. 

 On the third day, the team went to visit the monastery in Meteora and the Museum of Greek Education.  

On the fourth day there was a presentation on children's rights in literature prepared by the Polish team, a presentation on the Convention on Children's Rights prepared by the Greeks, a film titled "Refugee Child" was shown, and then workshops based on it were held. Later, there was a meeting with the writer Chrysanthi Protopsaltou, who presented her children's book "Do we play countries?" After these activities, the Erasmus+ team went to the archaeological site and to the Royal Aristotle Gymnasium. In the evening, a gala farewell dinner was held, after which all participants received certificates confirming their participation in the project meeting.  

On the last day, the Veria center and the Folklore Museum were visited.    

During the project meeting, the students learned about the culture, tradition and history of Greece. They visited many historical places and museums, used English in everyday situations, made new friends with peers from other European countries, gained self-confidence in interpersonal contacts, got to know the taste of traditional Greek dishes, and learned how to work in an international team.

W związku z realizacją projektu Erasmus+ ”Language Learning via Literature”, w dniach 8-12 maja 2023 odbyło się spotkanie projektowe w Grecji, w którym udział brała delegacja ze Szkoły Podstawowej nr 1 w Grajewie w składzie 8 uczniów oraz 2 nauczycieli. Ponadto w spotkaniu udział brały zespoły z Rumunii, Północnej Macedonii, Turcji i Grecji.

W dniu przybycia uczestnicy odwiedzili lokalny „Dom literatury i sztuki”, gdzie prezentowano wystawę szkoły gospodarzy pt.: „Dziesięć lat występów teatralnych. Przez dziesięć lat przebieraliśmy się za bohaterów z baśni i literatury”.

Pierwszego dnia goście odbyli wizytę w szkole gospodarzy, gdzie odbyły się gry i zabawy przełamujące pierwsze lody pomiędzy uczniami ze wszystkich szkół partnerskich. Następnie odbył się pokaz tradycyjnych greckich kostiumów, w które przebrali się uczniowie-goście oraz pokazy tradycyjnych greckich tańców. Kolejnym punktem wizyty było Muzeum Królewskich Grobowców w Vergina, a także Policentryczne Muzeum Aigais. Późnym popołudniem zespół Erasmus+ zwiedził nowoczesną Bibliotekę Miejską w Veria, która otrzymała nagrodę od Fundacji Billa i Melindy Gates. Później braliśmy udział w wystawie prac graficznych przedstawiających bohaterów literackich we współczesnym świecie.

Drugiego dnia zespół Erasmus+ zwiedzał Saloniki m.in. nabrzeże: praca wizualna „Parasolki”, pomnik Aleksandra Wielkiego, Muzeum Historyczne w Białej Wieży, pomnik Lambrakisa, pomnik Holokaustu. Następnie zespół odbył wizytę na Uniwersytecie Arystotelesa w Salonikach, gdzie rozmawiano o literaturze, sztuce i sile obrazu z muzeologiem i historykiem sztuki i Profesorem Pedagogiki.

Trzeciego dnia zespół udał się zwiedzać klasztor w Meteorach oraz Muzeum Greckiej Edukacji.

Czwartego dnia przedstawiano prezentację o prawach dziecka w literaturze przygotowaną przez polski zespół, prezentację o konwencji praw dziecka przygotowaną przez Greków, zaprezentowano film pt.: „Refugee Child”, a następnie odbyły się warsztaty oparte na nim. Później odbyło się spotkanie z pisarką Chrysanthi Protopsaltou, która zaprezentowała swoją książkę dla dzieci pt.: „Do we play countries?” Po tych zajęciach zespół Erasmus+ udał się do miejsca archeologicznego oraz do Królewskiego Gimnazjum Arystotelesa. Wieczorem odbyła się uroczysta kolacja pożegnalna, po której wszyscy uczestnicy otrzymali certyfikaty potwierdzające udział w spotkaniu projektowym.

Ostatniego dnia zwiedzano centrum Veria oraz Muzeum Folkloru.

Podczas spotkania projektowego uczniowie poznali kulturę, tradycję i historię Grecji. Zwiedzili wiele historycznych miejsc, muzeów, posługiwali się językiem angielskim w sytuacjach dnia codziennego, nawiązali nowe znajomości z rówieśnikami z innych krajów europejskich, nabyli pewności siebie w kontaktach interpersonalnych, poznali smak tradycyjnych potraw greckich, nauczyli się pracy w zespole międzynarodowym.
